I just got confirmation of a few BlackBerry 10 pet peeves I have that are fixed in the upcoming BlackBerry OS 10.1 maintenance release (MR). This MR is scheduled for the next few months and is coming before OS 10.2 later this year. The things I have just confirmed as fixed are:
- Reply/Forward State Sync both ways – Many users were lamenting that with ActiveSync BlackBerry 10 was unable to synchronize the reply state. That means when users got to their desktop they did not know if they replied or forwarded an email.
- BlackBerry World improved update notifications all around
- Faster performance throughout & other small fixes
I just had to mention the Exchange reply state but the performance is also a nice boost.

Update: Sorry guys. I jumped on an email BlackBerry sent out about the update on the 4th:
Sorry for getting your hopes up!BlackBerry is continuing to update their popular BBM Channels app in BlackBerry's Beta Zone. They once again are recommending the convoluted sideloading method on BlackBerry 10 instead of just opening up OTA downloads like they are promoting on legacy devices. Either way the update is for both BB10 and Legacy devices bringing some nice updates including the ability to report channel content and more:
- Search for Channels
- Active Text for Channel ID's Within BBOS (5, 6, and 7)
- Deleting My Own Channel
- Support for Animated GIFs
- View Subscriber Count Within a Channel's Preview Screen
- Report Channel Content
