Переслать - Designer Creates Renders of BlackBerry 10 L-Series Devices in Black & White
We have received quite a few tips about these renders so I thought it would be worth mentioning them. These ARE NOT real renders by RIM and were created by Martin uit Utrecht based on what we have seen and learned so far from leaks. We have already seen real images of the L-Series so I was not going to post these renders but they are worth drooling over since they render what a white L-Series BlackBerry 10 device could possibly look like.
This is how the designer describes the renders:
Highly detailed model of the rumoured Blackberry L-series phone which is set to launch in 2013.
The model has been made based on leaked photos and specifications.
Originally built using NURBS the detail of the model is very high and all filleted edges are included in the actual geometry.Check out all the renders at Flickr. They are even available with quite a few more rendering options for sale at 3DExport. Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

Переслать - BlackBerry 10 Voice Control & Commands Caught on Camera
From previous builds of the Dev Alpha we already knew that RIM was planning some sort of voice control for BlackBerry 10. Now we have a better idea of what it will look like thanks to Tinhte's screenshots. It seems to work a little like Siri on iOS and Voice Control on Android. It allows you to announce commands and do things like schedule meetings. It will be interesting to see if this is totally on device and if developers can hook into it.

WATERLOO, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – Dec. 17, 2012) – Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ:RIMM)(TSX:RIM) today announced the BlackBerry(R) 10 Technical Preview program, giving selected enterprise and government customers the opportunity to begin beta testing with BlackBerry(R) Enterprise Service 10 and pre-production BlackBerry(R) 10 smartphones.
