- New Facebook for BlackBerry 10 Demoed at BlackBerry Jam Americas
During the keynote, Thorsten Heins discussed how BlackBerry ® is a leader in mobile social media communications. We have over 60 million active BBM™ users and tens of millions on other social platforms, including another 60 million using Facebook® for BlackBerry. Yesterday, the all-new Facebook for BlackBerry 10 app was shown off on stage during the keynote. I was lucky enough to catch up with a member of the product team afterwards to get a demo for all you eager Facebook fans out there.

We got to see some of what we can expect for social apps on BlackBerry ® 10 this week at BlackBerry ® Jam Americas. Foursquare, one of my favorite apps for BlackBerry, was previewed for BlackBerry 10 live on stage during the keynote. This app really embodies the look and feel of BlackBerry 10.
